The Art of Restorative Practice (date to be announced)
Connect to your innate capacity to relax and to restore inner balance
Join me and enter the sublime healing zone of restorative physical practice.
We'll explore why and how restorative asanas work from a yoga anatomical and therapeutic perspective – and how to approach them to maximise their benefits on you.
This practical morning will include a variety of restorative breathing practices – (yes, what are the different benefits of using the left as opposed to the right nostril?) to suit a range of needs
Kriya Yoga - The Yoga of Action (date to be announced)
How we chose to align our thoughts, intentions and actions is a human skill we can self regulate and hone in order to master the quality and purpose of our daily existence.
The ancient rishis (seers) described this as a path of conscious evolution.
Kriya Yoga systemised this into 3 clear steps which we'll explore through an embodied practice – using mind and breath as our tools and the body as our instrument.

Savour your Sundays
Sunday 'You time' to luxuriate in a highly enjoyable comprehensive and structured morning of yoga once a month. Maxine will spotlight a different subject of interest each month which will run through all the practices as the morning unfolds.
An opportunity to delve deeper than a usual class and to re-explore new or re- visited areas of practice afresh.
The focus of the morning is physical practice, with an informative weave of yoga principles and philosophy seamlessly interspersed
Sunday Yoga Mornings 9.30 - 12.00 are divided in to three areas of practice; a 75 minute movement/ asana practice; 30 minutes of breath-work /pranayama and ; 30 minutes of meditation/relaxation/yoga nidra.
Maxine will guide you step by step how to adjust your practice to suit your personal needs.
Develop your personal understanding by feeling the therapeutic benefits, which will be explained along the way
Expect to create new building blocks to build your practice to a more advanced level
Maximum 8 participants so Maxine can help each person individually in the room.
Open to all levels., ages abilities and bodies
Limited numbers to ensure individual attention
Includes an optional one to one consultation before the workshop so you are sure to gain the maximum from the session, whether you are attending live, or will be watching later at your own leisure. Everyone will receive a recording, valid 7 days to re-visit the practice .
