Shared Private Small Classes with Maxine
Congratulations on your new bundle of joy. Now it's time to support your recovery with Postnatal Yoga classes with your baby. The focus is on you, the mum, though we do included baby too!
Enjoy the benefits of private class at an affordable rate. You have flexibility to chose the dates of the sessions you can attend. And you can expect personal hands on attention.
There is a sliding scale of payment depending on the numbers attending.
Numbers are limited to ensure mums and babies get the most from the sessions. Come with or without your baby.
When can I start?
You can join at any point.
You are free to Book and pay for the just class dates you can do within the current block dates. You make up missed classes for free.
Or book your own shared sessions separately if you have a group of friends at times and dates to suit you.
Contact me to find out how many people are signed up to the block and therefore what the payment rate is.
If you miss a class another class on the MaxineYoga timetable for free: Mellow Yoga and Gentle Yoga is highly recommended for postnatal recovery.
*NB Sliding scale for payment applies: You will be refunded £5 per session at the end of your block for those classes where the numbers rise to 5 and you originally paid more. LIkewise if the numbers fall, and you originally paid £15, you will be requested to pay the extra £5 on the day.

What is special about these classes?
These shared private small classes are designed to offer you the right support and information when you need it most – in the crucial first postpartum months. As part of a small group you can ask questions, share experiences, receive expert guidance and tips to take away.
The focus is on you – getting fit safely and feeing you have worked effectively with your body. We also do lots with the babies and they really love it too! The baby yoga component increases your baby’s body awareness, co-ordination and flexibility and allows you and your baby to stretch and relax in a safe setting.
Whether it’s your first baby or you are an experienced new mother, you will leave armed with great fresh ideas on effective exercises and movements you can do at home, with or without your baby, and have fun with them in the process.

These classes offer the perfect chance to get fit and relax in an informal and friendly atmosphere. They are tailored around the specific needs of the mums (and little ones!) attending.
Whatever your baby needs or might be doing during the class is fine. You will discover great tips on how to integrate this into your practice.
Private one-to-one Postnatal Yoga with or without Baby
One-to-one or shared private sessions with your friends are also available. These are ideal if you would like the chance to have a class targeted around more specific needs – in the comfort of your own home or my home studio, at a time suitable to you. As in the group classes, all the exercises are adapted to help you step by step through your postnatal recovery. You can take what you learn into my shared private class practice should you attend both.
Monthly Saturday and Sunday Morning Workshops
These general hatha weekend yoga mornings are suitable for postnatal students, usually from 6 months plus. Excellent for supporting your postnatal recovery. You build on all the practices we do in class but with the added benefit of having time to go deeper into the poses. Limited to 8 places, in the comfort of my home studio. These are ideal if you have the chance to sequester child care and create some personal 'you time'. Read more

Maxine's Teaching Experience
Maxine Levy is an experienced British Wheel of Yoga teacher. Inspired by the benefits of pregnancy and post-natal yoga for the birth of her daughter, she trained in this area for over 10 years. She is passionate about supporting ante and postnatal mums, their bumps and babies at this very special time.
